2022 The 19th INHPF Annual Meeting

The 19^th International Network of Health Promotion Foundations (INHPF) Annual Meeting was held by Taiwan HPA on August 17^th. The theme for this year was “Health Promotion Policy for Global Action.” Speakers from Australia, Thailand, Korea, WHO South-East Asia Regional Office (SEARO), Southeast Asia Tobacco Control Alliance (SEATCA), and APACPH members institutions were all invited to share and exchange their insights with Taiwan health officals and experts.
A total of 244 health officials and health promotion experts attended. The Minister of Health and Welfare of Taiwan, Jui-Yuan Hsueh, gave opening remarks. Prof. Kuo-Liong Chien from NTU as well as Prof. Chih-Cheng Hsu from the National Health Research Institutes represented Taiwan and shared their experience of preventing non-communicable diseases (NCD). They also presented on how to tackle the chronic disease burden by utilizing precision healthcare and ICOPE (Integrated Care for Older People) assessment.
